The focus of the present Manual is national efforts aimed at successfully preventing criminals from profiting from crime. The present Manual facilitates asset recovery in accordance with the provisions of the Organized Crime Convention. It is to be used in close conjunction with the companion Manual on Mutual Legal Assistance and Extradition.
