This training manual provides general guidance and instruction for a three day workshop on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Mediation. The manual begins with the context and benefits of ADR, an in-depth study of approaches to ADR, and its context under Nigerian law. The latter half of the manual is devoted to mediation skills and evaluating a judicial system for ADR and restorative justice approaches.
