The Criminal Justice Response to Marihuana Growing Operations in B.C.

The present study is a first attempt to gain a better understanding of the rapid proliferation of marihuana growing operations in British Columbia and to identify the nature of the current law enforcement and criminal justice response to that problem. The study was designed to document the variations in the prevalence and profile of marihuana growing operations that came in recent years to the attention of the police in selected jurisdictions within British Columbia.
