Resource Book for Trainers on Effective Prosecution Responses to Violence Against Women and Girls

This Resource Book for Trainers on Effective Prosecution Responses to Violence against Women and Girls is aimed at training frontline prosecutors in prosecuting cases involving violence against women, with a specific focus on intimate partner violence and sexual violence. It has been developed by UNODC, in collaboration with UN Women and the Thailand Institute of Justice (TIJ) and is based on the UNODC/UN Women/TIJ Handbook on Effective Prosecution Responses to Violence against Women and Girl. It also builds on tools such as the Blueprint for Action: an Implementation Plan for Criminal Justice Systems to Prevent and Respond to Violence against Women and the United Nations Essential Services Package for Women and Girls Subject to Violence.
