Guidelines for Industry on Child Online Protection

The new Guidelines for Industry on Child Online Protection are the result of consultations with members of the COP Initiative, as well as a wider open consultation that invited members of civil society, business, academia, governments, media, international organizations and young people to provide feedback on the Guidelines. The Guidelines apply to the safety of children when using information and communication technologies (ICTs). They provide advice on how industry can work to help ensure children’s safety when using the Internet or any of the associated technologies or devices that can connect to it, including mobile phones and game consoles.
