Defining Organised Crime in Canada: Meeting Our Obligations Under the UN Convention Against Transnational Organised Crime and its Protocols Against Trafficking of Persons and Smuggling of Migrants?
This paper is part of an on-going research project between Canada and China on the implementation of international standards. The focus of this paper is on the legislative framework in Canada to combat organised crime and provide some comparisons to the obligations under the Convention and Protocols.
