Block chain technology can be used in a wide variety of ways. Some actors have used cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, in fraud, drug trafficking, ransomware attacks and other illegal activities. At the same time, there is significant potential in block chain technology to protect privacy, increase trust and combat cybercrime. The speakers at this event discuss both sides of block chain technology and its potential interaction with corruption and criminal law.
