Marcella Chan

Director of Programs

Marcella Chan is experienced in conducting research, developing training tools, research and policy development, program management and coordination, monitoring and evaluation and engaging in community consultation, education and awareness. In her current capacity, she oversees the program management and development of ICCLR’s research, technical assistance and capacity building project work across its areas of focus, including but not limited to, anti-corruption, cybercrime, corrections, restorative justice, access to justice, gender-based violence and violence against children in Canada and abroad. She is also responsible for managing the Centre’s day-to-day business operations. Prior to joining ICCLR, she was based in Hong Kong supporting the work of members of the judiciary at the district court of Hong Kong, Wan Chai Law Courts, on criminal and civil cases as well as the civil litigation team of a law firm. She graduated with a B.A. in Economics (First Class) from the University of British Columbia.
