Marcella Chan
Director of Programs
Marcella Chan is experienced in research, training development, policy analysis, program management and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and community engagement, including consultation, education, and awareness initiatives. In her current role, she oversees the management and development of ICCLR’s research, technical assistance, and capacity-building projects across its areas of focus, including anti-corruption, cybercrime, corrections, restorative justice, access to justice, gender-based violence, and violence against children in Canada and internationally. She also manages the Centre’s day-to-day operations.
Prior to joining ICCLR, she was based in Hong Kong, where she supported members of the judiciary at the District Court of Hong Kong (Wan Chai Law Courts) on both criminal and civil matters, as well as worked with the civil litigation team at a law firm. She holds a B.A. in Economics and a J.D. from the University of British Columbia.
