ICCLR recently participated in the 29^th Regular and Reconvened Session of the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice where Member States exchanged views on the contributions to the work of the United Nations Commission for Social Development and on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. ICCLR also participated in the 63^rd Reconvened Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs that provided policy guidance and monitored activities of the United Nations Drug Programme.

ICCLR would like to extend its congratulations to Ambassador Alessandro Cortese elected as Chair of the 30^th CCPCJ Session. ICCLR looks forward to the UN Crime Congress in Kyoto scheduled in March 2021 that includes a PNI panel discussion with ICCLR Senior Associate Prof. Yvon Dandurand on crime prevention.
